بدايتي مع الوسط الأكاديمي كانت عام 2002 عندما باشرت العمل مع كلية الهندسة، جامعة طبرق كمعيد ثم محاضر مساعد عام 2007 بعد حصولي على درجة الماجستير. تدرجت إلى أستاذ مشارك عام 2021 من خلال البحوث العلمية التي تم نشرها في المؤتمرات الدولية والمجلات العلمية المحكمة دوليا. أعمل حاليًا عضو هيئة تدريس بكلية الهندسة، جامعة طبرق حيث أني متفرغ في مهام التدريس والبحث العلمي في مجال الهندسة الكهربائية لدرجة البكالوريس والدراسات العليا وكذلك الإشراف على المشاريع البحثية لنيل درجة البكالوريس والماجستير. شغلت وظيفة وكيل الشؤون العلمية بالكلية وحاليا أشغل منصب مدير مكتب التعاون الدولي بالكلية.
Joining the academic community was in 2002 when I started working with the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tobruk as a teaching assistant and then as an assistant lecturer in 2007 after obtaining my master’s degree. I promoted to the position of an associate professor in 2021 through scientific research that was published in international conferences and internationally refereed scientific journals. I am currently working as a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tobruk, where I am dedicated in teaching and scientific research tasks in the field of electrical engineering for the bachelor’s degree and postgraduate studies, as well as supervising research projects to obtain a bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In addition to academic duties, some of administrative roles are assigned such as holding the position of Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the college, and currently holding the position of Director of the International Cooperation Office at the college

تشمل الاهتمامات البحثية الحالية تطبيقات IEC 61850في حماية محطات القدرة في الزمن الحقيقي، نظام الطاقة والشبكات الذكية وتقدير حالة نظام الطاقة، تطبيق المزامنة والآلات والمحركات الكهربائية، المرشحات النشطة.
Current Research interests Include Real-Time Application of IEC 61850 Standard, Power System Automation and Smart Grids, Power System State Estimation, Application of Synchrophasors, Electrical Machines and Drives, Power Quality and Active Filters
